So this is my first NAS ever purchased and I am quite impressed. I have had this for about 2 months now and haven't had any issues. It was simple to to do a basic setup to have my network recognize it and access via my computers connected on my network. I have a PC laptop, MacBook Pro, iPad, iPhone 4 & iPhone 4S, and a Wii currently connected to it via my network. Files are accessed easily and stream audio/video seamlessly. Transferring over movies over the network isn't by any means quick like it does when attached directly via USB but it works well and you can't tell any lag when transferring over basic, small files. I have this setup in RAID 1 to mirror the drives so I have a backup. I bought a refurbished model didn't come with any documentation but there is stuff online through Buffalo's site. I did have issues trying to setup access outside of my network but I finally gave in and called Buffalo's tech support to help and they were extremely helpful and I had that feature ...
